World of Style Commando
Featured Video
Now available via VUZE, the complete feature-length version of Terror Report! TERROR REPORT tells the story of a pair of CIA agents working on two different ends of the war on terror: Sinclair King, the implanted dictator of an African country, and Benjamin Hatcher, a loose cannon with a score to settle. When liberal-leaning Senator Gilbert Brennan arrives in town to take part in a rock-stars-for-peace benefit, an assassination plan is launched -- kill the senator before he can bring his controversial war-on-terror document to light. And a staged terrorist attack is just the cover Hatcher needs.

"Jobbers" Website Live

Want to find out more about the Style Commando picture "Jobbers?" The new website, JOBBERSTHEMOVIE, captures the spirit and intentions of the feature-length film, which features a host of historical interviews and a healthy helping of ridiculousness. Additionally, the site has extended video and features that will not be seen anywhere else. Bill pitches the film as "Borat beyond the mat," and has really put himself on the chopping block for this pic. Check it out!
Pro Wrestling TV with AWF
As a by-product of working on the documentary "Jobbers," we've also had the opportunity to participate in the creation of the American Wrestling Federation's new TV pitch "AWF Old School." In collaboration with Tony Denucci's AWF promotion, Style Commando has assembled the pilot episode of a weekly series aimed at midwestern regional television. With appearances by Lenny Lane, Sheik Adnan Alkaissy, and Arik Cannon, this episode was shot at the Isanti Civic Center in 2008. Host Scotty Zappa provides the color commentary in this pitch tape for the show, contact Michael Heagle for information about the TV rights for AWF Old School.

Hammer and Tongs Interview
Occasionally as part of my job as a faculty member at Art Institutes International, MN, I am able to interview cool visiting artists. Such was the case with the UK-based directing team of Hammer and Tongs, aka Garth Jennings and Nick Goldsmith, here talking about their new picture "Son of Rambow," as well as honorable mentions to their Hitchhikers Guide movie, music video and ad work, and more. See their work at their site, Tongsville. Great guys, a lot of fun, and the Rambow pic is terrific! Download the interview (29.5MB) here.
Steampunk Robot on the Loose
Producer Michael Heagle has been doing R&D on a new film project. The details are top secret at this point, but it involves Jules-Vernian technology, top hats, and gaslight! Stay tuned to Style Commando for more breaking news, but in the meantime enjoy the short test film, an advertisement (say it with me, British style: "ud-VURT-us-munt") for a steam powered walker! It's the ED-209's great grandpappy!
